HOW IS THE PROGRAM FUNDED AT THE HOSPITAL LEVEL?

We are committed to providing all children with cancer a Chemo Duck free of charge, therefore we need generous donations from individuals and businesses to allow this to happen. For our hospital program, we offer several funding opportunities. A donation of any amount can be made directly from the hospital. Some hospitals have paired the Gabe's Chemo Duck program with donors who wish to take part in our "Sponsor a Hospital" program and in certain cases Gabe's My Heart is able to pair a hospital with a donor.

SELF FUNDING

How many ducks will we be provided?
The minimum order of Chemo Ducks is 12 ($276). But whether you need 12 ducks or 1000, we are committed to ensuring the Gabe's Chemo Duck program is a benefit for patients, families as well as the hospital. Gabe's My Heart is a not for profit organization and all monies provided to our program from outside donors or hospitals are considered a donation to cover the cost of the ducks.

Does Gabe's My Heart accept purchase orders?
Gabe's My Heart does not have a W9 number at this time and is unable to accept purchase orders. We are requesting donations simply to cover the cost of the program. We can send a donation invoice to your hospital prior to, or after, you receive your Chemo Ducks.

Can a hospital or donor donate by credit card?
Donations can be accepted in any amount through our Website. Please contact us directly at lu@chemoduck.org for credit card donation instructions.

SPONSORSHIP

Outside Donors
If your hospital has a donor that has a special interest in pediatric cancer, Gabe's Chemo Duck program would be a perfect match for this donor's intentions!

If you are aware of a donor who would be interested in sponsoring the ducks for your hospital and is seeking to receive the donor benefits outlined in our "Adopt a Hospital" program, please have them contact us directly at lu@chemoduck.org For additional details you can access the "How To Help" section on www.chemoduck.org. If you have a donor interested in donating directly to your hospital and sponsoring only the number of ducks you require please follow the normal ordering process.

GRANTS

Can this program be funded by grants?
Absolutely! We have witnessed many organizations providing Chemo Ducks to their patients by way of grants from businesses and foundations. If you are applying for a grant and need assistance, just let us know. We are here to help.

Can I still obtain a Chemo Duck if I don't have funding?
Gabe's My Heart is able to help match donors to hospitals. If you are unable to find funding for your hospital, you should still complete the form and your hospital will be matched with an appropriate donor as soon as possible.

REORDERING

Reorders
Usually, a facility reorders Chemo Ducks about once a year. Orders are placed by completing our Chemo Duck order form and returning it to our office.
