GABE'S GOODIES
Many friends ask how they can become more involved in Gabe’s Chemo Duck program, so Gabe’s My Heart developed Gabe’s Goodies as a way to involve our friends and supporters in our fundraising efforts.
Gabe’s My Heart believes in involving children in the fundraising process as much as possible...KIDS LOVE to BAKE!!!!
Bake Sales are a great way to involve community groups such as Girl Scouts or sports teams. The Gabe’s Goodies program provides everything you need to host a Bake Sale…..except the cookies!
If you don’t think you have the time to host a Bake Sale, you can still host a Gabe’s Goodies event. You can take orders for baked goods from friends and neighbors and ask for donations in return. We call this GOODIES TO GO!!!
You can also host a Cookie Exchange or Recipe Exchange. Once again, all the planning and printed needs are taken care of for you.
• A donation of $25 will place an individual duck in the hands of a child.
• A Bake Sale that raises $475 will provide a box of ducks for a hospital.

Gabe’s Goodies Event Ideas and Ways to Help
For your convenience, we have assembled an easily accessed program, to allow you, your friends and colleagues, or other individuals and groups to host “Gabe’s Goodies” event. If you are interested in hosting a Bake Sale or other Fundraising please register with Lu, at lu@gabesmyheart.com.
Hosting a “Gabe’s Goodies” Bake Sale
Bake Sales are usually best hosted between a group of friends or an organization. It can be lots of fun to feed spectators at a sporting event, or sell baked goodies at a Yard Sale for fun.

Recipe Exchange
Host a recipe exchange night….invite all your friends to your house create a fun recipe together, have them bring enough copies of their own favorite recipe for everyone and a donation (suggested donation $25).
Eat, Drink and Have fun!!! Everyone leaves with a folder full of new recipes!!

Cookie Exchange
Host a cookie exchange….invite all your friends to your house for an evening of Gabe’s Goodies. Your guests should bake 2 dozen cookies, bring enough copies of the cookie recipe for everyone and provide a donation (suggested donation $25).
Eat Cookies, Drink Milk, maybe watch a chick flick and have fun !!! Everyone leaves with a folder full of new recipes and a plate of mixed cookies!! To register your Cookie Exchange contact Lu: lu@gabesmyheart.com

Enlist a few friends to take orders at your place of work for pies cakes or cookies. On a designated date bring the goodies to work. Offer the possibility of sponsoring a box of Gabe’s Goodies to Go.
